Hookah bowls (also known as shisha bowls) come in different shapes, sizes and materials; and can have a big impact on the quality of your shisha smoking session. When shopping for a new hookah bowl, it is good to note that the right bowl shouldn't be based on price alone, as each hookah head has its pros and cons. This article will explore different types of hookah bowls in order to assist you in your next purchase!
PHUNNEL HOOKAH BOWL
A Phunnel bowl does not have holes at the bottom. Instead, Phunnel bowls have an open hole spike at the middle of the bowl. This design stops the flavour juices from dripping down the stem and into the hookah vase.
Pros
Better Heating Of The Shisha. The foil and the charcoals are kept at a distance from the shisha flavor, due to the spike in the middle, thus, it is difficult to overheat and burn the flavor.
Maintains Shisha Juices For A Longer Time. Phunnel Bowls do not have holes at the bottom and hold the flavour juices for a longer time. Juice can not drain through the holes.
Variety & Cost. Many variations of the phunnel bowl are available at costly prices.
